BNC
These are a lightweight connector widely used in computer networks, test and instrumentation, telecommunications and broadcast markets.
The quick disconnect bayonet coupling, small size, and low cost are key features. Cable termination styles available include crimp/crimp, one-piece twist-on and the more traditional solder/clamp style.
BNC connectors are available with both 50 Ohm and 75 Ohm impedance for applications where impendence matching is important. Typically, the 75ohm BNC is used in video and telecommunication applications.
FME
Originally designed for the European wireless market, the FME range has recently become popular globally. This range varies in type, from the "rotating nipple antenna" to straight crimp types.
They provide repeatable performance from DC-900MHz, and suitable applications are in the GPS, mobile and WLAN sections of the communications marketplace.
MCX

SMA
SMA connectors are precision sub-miniature connectors primarily used for higher frequencies with excellent electrical performance from DC through to 18GHz.
They are built in accordance with MIL-C-39012 and are available for a variety of flexible and semi-rigid cables. Brass SMA connectors provide a cost effective solution for applications where stainless steel construction is not required.
SMB
SMB connectors feature a quick connect/disconnect snap-on mating face and are available in both 50 and 75 Ohm impedances.
This series of connectors conforms to MIL-C-39012. The SMB connector line offers a cost effective solution for digital cellular PCN, GPS and WLAN systems.
TNC
TNC connectors were originally developed for aircraft and missile applications where extreme vibration is a factor.
They are of miniature size like the BNC connector but feature a threaded coupling nut for applications requiring performance through to 11GHz. Chosen for their durability and reliability, TNC connectors are widely used in the cellular/mobile communication industry for equipment cabling and antenna interfaces.
